You don't have to do it that way.

You could create the cluster after you install the new drives to your 01 server. The only problem is that when you take the 02 down to install the new drives you don't have failover.

What is going to happen if you do it that way is that the first replication cycle will take a long time. I think it is import to have all the users to have the same home server.

Now you understand that Domino Cluster is an application cluster and the same as the NT Cluster right?
